Making Faux Stone

Recipes

Gray or Black

1 part Portland cement

1 part peat moss

1 part vermiculite

Add black tint for dark gray or black.

White

1 part perlite

1 part vermiculite

1 part white Portland cement

Red, Tan, Brown

Same recipe as white.

Add color tint to taste.

A Cautionary Note:

The dusts of all these ingredients are dangerous to inhale. Portland cement is particularly nasty to inhale and will also burn skin. Please use proper precautions when making hypertufo pots.
